I haven't played GTA San Andreas yet :dunno: , but out of III and Vice City, III is definately my favourite, just has such a gangster feeling to it where as Vice City was a bit too laid back for me although the music was good

Yes I loved the old overhead view ones.. it was so much fun cruising around listeing to the Ska radio station... the first 3d version was totally cool, I payed it for hours at a time. However, by the time San Andreas (or whatever version is out now) came out, I totally lost interest... there was not enought different stuff. It was the same old thing, in a different city.
That's why I stopped playing it.. along with Tony Haw Pro Skater and even Gran Tursimo.. having played all 3 since the first version, the newer ones have not offered that much more.

My favorite was throwing molitov coctails and blowing up cars back in GTA2 on the PC. As for the playstation, my favorite that I played on PS2 was Vice City...
The GTA series is definately an all time favorite, one for the books. :-)

I definately have to say GTA III, VC and SA were just the same but in different locations and different missions. GTA III was just amazing and I can play it again and again.

Gta III had the best story line. Its the best cause it the original(of the 3d ones) San Andreas was cool because it is big with lots of sutff to do. but after you beat all three, they get boring. Then all that there is to do is take the Range Rover Classic lokking thing(from SA), put the hydralic lift on it, and go urban wheeling.

That is pretty much what I do in GTA SA, is just drive around with the RRC and wheel around, and to show how obsessive I am with them I have like 4 or 5 RRCs in the game, with different colors and wheels, and one with air suspension.

Re: favourite gta game?
I liked San Andreas mainly because it had aircraft included. Flying around in the fighter jet was a pretty cool feature.

Re: favourite gta game?
San Andreas is my favorite for PS2, but I always liked the 2D versions better. Nothing like ramming a parked cop car to have it squash the cop that just got out of it >D

I would say that it is III also but you have to love vice city with the music... My real favorite is the GTA that was for the PC before it went to the console back in like 96 it was a top down view and was super fun. it was also banned in the USA so we had to get it from England...
