Dell Dimension
Both Trish and I bought Dell Dimension 8400's last January.. this is my second Dell.. I really like Dell's product and customer service is decent. The other brand I was considering was a Sony Vaio... but in the end Dell had more features and custom configurations available for my needs.. that and the upgrade to the 19" TFT didn't hurt...

Thats the one thing I'd give Dell over Sony. With Dell you can customise just about every feature of the PC/laptop yet with Sony you can't. Still Sony is flashy but expensive and I have to say some of Dell's offers are pretty tempting

Re: Dell Dimension
I also agree that Dell is a good computer overall. But lately I have heard that customer service is terrible? I personally have not had to deal with customer service concerning Dell products, but I know people that have and they were not very impressed. One of my friends stated that finding someone that understood English was next to impossible. I'm just wondering did they move customere service calls overseas or something? Just was wondering if you guys had expierenced anything like this?
