Thoughts about Dells?
Here's what I think about Dells.
The good thing about Dells are that they are very reliable. They usually won't let you down or break on you in the middle of the year. They are also very longlasting, most of the stuff I got from Dell like Monitors and mouses/keys are all intact even after 7 years or so. I think the only bad thing is that they might not be too fast. Fast for gamers that is, but most of their comps are fast enough. Also the price tag, many people would like a custom made which is obviously way cheaper. Your experiences? |

Thoughts about Dells?
I'm on my second Dell and it works great.. never really had any problems.. as far as speed, you can spec one out almost any way you want.. it's not a gaming machine, that's for sure...
Cheaper is not always better... go for quality... |

Thoughts about Dells?
Our Univerity's computers are all new Dells, particularly the ones at our Student commons for us to use to surf the net, what's weird is the size of the Dell's tower; it's friggin' tiny! Like the size of a Kleenex box, with no floppy drive. Instead we use those USB things you plug into the desktop. Wierd PC but I like it.

Thoughts about Dells?
My first dell was bought back in 1999 and i must say is sucked ass. I paied almost $3000 for it and it worked greate when i got it, but after the warranty expired the problems started. When booting it sounded like a plane taking off etc. The support i got was a joke and then and there i found out that i would never buy dell again.
