Re: Animal Crossing

It's tons of fun. I highly recommend the DS version. Both are great though. The best thing about the DS version is getting to visit other people's towns with friend codes.

Re: Animal Crossing

I agree, both are great! The graphics on the DS version seem a bit more refined, and tons brighter if you have the DS Lite. There are a few extra features that the GC version doesn't have as well (for example, you don't have to mail the fossils to get them identified anymore...just go to the museum for instant identification!)

I suggest getting both if you can, because their gameplay is very different. But if you can only get one, or get one first, then I'd suggest the DS version simply because of the option to connect to other people's towns.

I preferred mailing the fossils personally! I hated having to talk to the owl every day. But I loved be able to go to the coffee bar!

I'd like to pick this game up when I get the money, but a friend of mine told me that she hated it... meh.

It's a little tedious. I've always had the GC version, and used to enjoy it a lot. About a year ago, I bought WW and traded it back in after a few days. A little while after that, I went and bought it again. Sometimes you'll get tired of it, but it's addicting!
