Me and My friends play games on LAN daily after school, so far we've been playing Counter Strike and Stronghold Crusader only. But now we want something new. Please recommend us few games especially made for LAN. Thanks

I don't usually play online games unless they are really good.
So, any gamers have good LAN games suggestion ?

Back before Microsoft Bought Bungie and before they made Halo they made FPS's for the MAC and they had a LAN portion that was the best... this was many moons ago I think it was about 1995... They had great multiplayer maps I believe they may have resurrected some of those for Halo2...

Unreal tournament is ok

I haven't played it yet, I just downloaded it (it's free) but it looks good, Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory
You can download it off many game file sites like fileplanet... I downloaded it direct from ID games ftp site... still have to install it though...

Man!!. How can you forget Age of empire II? The best game i have ever played on a LAN .

Starcraft is very good fun. Also google aces high 2. If you have semi good specs on your computer you can play lan for free. Its a WWII flight simulator game, very nice GFX. You might need a joystick if you want to have any real fun.

You've already played the best game!! Counter Strike is definately my favourite, but depending on what games your into I'd give the Age Of Empires series a go (has to be another of my favourites)
