Anyone played Mercenary?
I just rented Mercenaries for the PS2...
You play as a Merc, doing jobs for all the factions, you can do challenges like in GTA, you come accross a Humvee get in and have to race to a destination... You can call in air strikes.... all kinds of things... I like it, it's a great game... I would recommend it... One of those games where you can keep playing it because the outcome is always different... Depends on which factions you piss off and which ones you keep up an alliegence with. Anyone else out there played this game? Edit: sorry, the title is actually Mercenaries, plural. |

Very close to GTA, the map is huge, segregated into areas for each faction, the Chineese, South Korean, Russian Mafia, Allied Nations, and then everyone's enemy the North Koreans...
You can go do jobs for whoever you want, whenever you want, for the most part. They also have challenges, much like that in GTA, where you get in a vehicle and have to get to a certain place in time, or talk to a person and you have 2 minutes to destroy 5 North Korean Jeeps... etc.. Talking about it makes me want to go play.... Off I go! |
