What was your first video game system?
Ok... this might be dating some of us here, but I think it would be cool to see what was the first video game system that you owned.
For me it was around 1982 and it was the Atari 2600, I think my parents paid around $179 for it. I was 11 years old. Man I loved that thing.. First game I got was Space Invaders... I can still hear that sound of them going left to right on the screen.I recall spending around $40 freakin' dollars on Night Driver and thinking it was so cool. Pitfall was neat as well. Looking back at those systems now, man it's soo funny how horrid the graphics were. I actually have several Activision and Atari old school compilations for my PS2.. man these games are still fun to play, but funny as well. One of my favorites is an Activions compilation for the PS2 that plays 80's music during game play! ok ok... I am soooo stuck in the 80's, I know!! What about you? What was your first video game system? |

What was your first video game system?
My first console system was the Nintendo Entertainment System. NES. I loved it like there was no tomorrow, for many years, even after the SNES, after the PS1, heck I was still playing Super Mario Bro's 3 after the N64 was released! I still regret selling it for $20, especially considering my friend who bought it never even paid me the darn $20... I'd probably still be playing some of those games once in a while... sigh...

What was your first video game system?
First system was the old Nintendo Entertainment center with Duck Hunter and Mario Bros.. The next one was the NES with alot of games. Then got the N64 with again alot of racing games. Then a PS1, shortly after, the PS2 which took a crap on me and now I have the new flat PS2. My brother continued the legacy of Nintendo in our family with the Game Cube. That's all I got for now. Oh and just this last weekend used my mom's notebook to play Evo 4x4.

My first was a PS1 and the game that got me into it was Jumpingflash, I don't if anyone else here has played that but that was one of my favourite Ps1 games. That was until I discovered Final Fantasy VII!!
I remember before going round a friends house and he had an Amega (or something like that) I remember spending hours playing that ![]() |

Mine was an Atari. I don't know the model number, but I remember playing frogger on it. Frogger was awesome. We always seemed to be behind all the other kids. While we were playing Atari all the other kids were playing on the Nintendo.
