Revolution vs. PS3 vs. Xbox 360

Which one will be your favourite of the next generation? Personally I'm eagerly awaiting the Nintendo Revolution. At first I considered the controller to just be a gimmick, then I remembered that was my initial impression of the DS. I know none of you can wait to play Zelda on the Revolution

Which to buy....

I think all 3 will be great... But I will buy a 360 it won't have the game library that the PS3 will have, but it will be better than the Revolution by far.... The other thing is I am a Halo fan and it is worth it just for that game...

I think the xbox 360 in this poll has a unfair advantage as it is allready out, people know about it and most of us has played it. I deffiantly think PS3 will be better than XBOX. And I think nintendo (mario etc) is for kiddies. And PS3 more for everyone basically and XBOX older people. PS3 has the most games and the best games for me, and good graphics (apprently). I think this poll would be better when all 3 consle's where out insted of now.

Well Cameron, I'm here to help the efforts against the 360. I will never buy one. It's made by Microsoft. It takes a lot to get me to buy anything made by microsoft. They make all their money by never truly finished their work and doing a good job, so they can suck you back in for the updates and newer versions. They have been close to monopolizing many of the markets they sell in, and I just don't like them, for many other reasons as well. It was a tough choice for me between PS3 and Revolution... but I voted Revolution. Nintendo is a better company all around, they market for everyone, including kids, being a father I like that. I'd rather buy my son a nintendo (although that will be a few years away yet, his first birthday is at the end of the month) because they have games suited for him, and many games that I like... Show me a game on the PS systems for a 3 or 4 year old... Might also have something to do with my very first console system being a nintendo... but back then playstation didn't exist.
Having said all that, Nintendo is not just for kids, they sell a lot of games that are great for adults. Look at the Resident Evil series... They have sports games... there's a lot.

Heres to you GAdget Sniper

First off nobody even finishes a product when creating an electronic device or a piece of software. They just either close or post pone features of that product or bugs. That is the only way to get a product out when it is on a grand scale. I know all 3 of these companies at least the US arm of each and you have no idea what you are talking about when you think that nintendo is the better choice than Sony or Microsoft. Also, again we like to support companies out side the US and not our own. And for that monopoly comment that is old and very weak. I think nintendo makes great hand helds but it has been years since they have done the quality job they use to do on a console. With Nintendo you will lack games until there is a decent sell through on the boxes then the external devolpment house will comeback.

I understand the hate for MS but it is not as evil as you are saying I live in the Northwest and they do lots of good for everyone in this country and other countries. They give until it hurts you just don't hear about it. All you hear about is the bad things that had happened... I know many MS employees and they will tell you 1 by 1 what a great and innovative company it is.. And no of them are millionaires...

Sorry everyone for the dumb rant.....:drink1:

I voted PS3, mostly because i have the flat PS2, and I like the graphics. I hope they make the next GTA for PS2 though...I couldn't afford the new PS3 when it comes out anyways.

I'm certainly gonna buy the Revolution. So far it seems to be like an amazing console. The controller looks really neat, developpers are enthousiastic and the thing and the games will be pretty cheap. Maybe I'll buy a PS3 as well when it's cheaper.

It's Nintendo's response on Sony and Microsoft their next gen consoles. It is focussed on gameplay, not on the graphics like the two others. Their controller is a true revolution and their online service will probably be pretty good. You'll hear about it

I think Xbox 360 gets my vote.

But I might actually only buy a Rev, cos they are apparently going to be a lot cheaper, and I'm not much of a hardcore gamer anymore. Used to be. Now its just sit at computer on internet all the time
