Re: MAC or PC?
I'm an audio engineer and have been doing digital artwork for ages, so I generally use both. Though the excuses for using a Mac over a PC for most of my every day applications are much fewer than they were a few years ago. When I was in college the thought of running audio software on anything but a couple of Mac workstations was laughable at best. Times, however, have changed. I have quite a few PC's in the studio now, and ironically, with Bootcamp, I have quite a few Macs that double as PC's.
As a gamer, there is only one choice of platform, as even with being able to run XP on my G5 I'm still more inclined to do my gaming on my gaming rig. Of course, there is the endless debate, but if you've been using both platforms as long as I have, you'd realize each has its perks and how neither is infallible. |

Re: MAC or PC?
Mac's are better for professionals wanting a glitch-free platform for production and work. You can game with them, but... why?
I own a Macbook Duo, and run XP on it's Bootcamp feature. I do this to play Dawn Of War... which runs great, btw. Other than that, I have a 360 for games like Gears and Oblivion. |

Re: MAC or PC?
I have used a PC for practically ever. I have no problems with Mac, as a matter of fact, I am getting ready to switch over. Iam getting into animation in a very big way, so I need to have a system that can handle the graphics. I am also tired of the problems I have had for years with WIndows based PCs.

Re: MAC or PC?
I'm not a Mac trained engineer, so I use PCs
![]() Having said that I almost exclusively use PCs for gaming, and Macs can't game. So, like most people, I would have a Mac if it was for work. |
