Are There Final Fantasy Fans for the Wii Generation?
SquareEnix has announced that Nintendo's Wii system will, indeed, carry another Final Fantasy title of its own entitled Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers.
I have never played the Gamecube Final Fantasy title (I had gone the PS2 route for that generation of consoles), but most reviews that I have scanned said it was good...as long as you have all the accessories to play it as a multi-player game. The single player version is supposed to get boring. This fact raises a concern: Are there Final Fantasy fans still within the Nintendo community? Who will consider the upcoming title a "must buy" like they did for the newest Zelda installment? For myself, that will depend entirely on how much more money a player will need to fork over to be able to play it either online or as a multi-player experience.

I am a die hard zelda fan and I can honestly say that I really do not like the idea of Final Fantasy being on anything nintendo, dont get me wrong I enjoy final fantasy as well.

I know what you mean. It wouldn't be so bad if SquareEnix would just port the volumes onto Nintendo, since the franchise did get the start on the original NES afterall, but the seperate (and, to some fans, inferior) Final Fantasy games designed supposely for an exclusively Nintendo market appear as an after thought and not of SquareEnix's focal attention.
