Japanese Only Releases You Wish You Could Get Your Hands On

As the title states, what are gaming titles that you have seen online that you sure wish would make their way out of Japanese harbors? The thread idea came to me while commenting on a modding thread in the Xbox section of the forum.

For me, I have been a long time Dragon Quest and Dragon Warrior fan, so many of my examples are within that franchise. As mentioned in the other thread, I would like to see the remake of Dragon Quest IV for the Playstation, the Yangus game related to the events in Dragon Quest VIII, and the Mario Party-like Playstation 2 game themed with both Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest characters show up in my local game store.

To be honest, it's not usually the Japanese games which bug me, but the American ones which never manage to come across the ocean despite already being translated into English. OK, so no help to the rest of Europe language-wise but screw them, why do I have to suffer??
RPGs in particular seem to suffer from this - presumably due to the large amount of dialogue translation needed. Lots of culprits but "YS: Ark of Napishtim" was one I was particularly disappointed to realise had sank into the Atlantic.

Have you tried using emulators? I'm pretty sure you can find whatever game you're looking for there.

I've looked indepth on PS2 emulation, in short: you can't. I have a killer machine (dual core, SLI 8800's), and I can't run PS2 emulator.

However, with a modchip or swap magic and some googling, you can play import games on your PS2.
