What to buy... what to buy...
I spend tons of time at my boyfriend's house, and he has a PS 2. All he has for the system are those Madden games, and I'm horrible at those sporty types of games.
I like RPGs, and I'm looking for some new ones to buy. What are all of your favorites? Recommendations? Thanks alot! |

Re: What to buy... what to buy...
When I lived with my dad we had a PS 2, and I always bought all of the Final Fantasy games I could get my mits on! Those are some of my favorite games (Sounds to me like you know why), and they are definitely going to be added to the list!

Dark Cloud (1&2, again - 2 is significantly better than 1).
Also, the Dragon Quest games are quite good, according to reviews I've read. I've never actually played any though...

Dragon Quest is a good suggestion, if you like the older turn-based rpg tradition but with impressive, modern graphics. Dragon Quest VIII is very satisfying and every element of the game is fully realized and rendered through the artwork of Akira Toriyama, who is best known on the Western front for his work in the anime Dragonball Z. Dragon Quest VIII holds the record in Japan as the best selling PS2 game of all time.
