Huxley

Has anyone seen this game? At first I thought it was going to be amazing. It looked like part WoW and part Unreal Tournament. It's an MMO-FPS and it looked so amazing, but then I saw some of the trailers and it started to impress me less and less and now I think it will just be big towns of people spamming then going out and playing a boring co-op mission together... My mind isn't made up yet obviously and I still have my hopes for the game.

Re: Huxley

I can't wait for Huxley, I'm getting it on the 360, and the cross-connectivity with Vista users promises 360 owners upgraded 'hero' characters as a handicap for the joypad.

I bet you've never played (or heard of Planetside). Similar to WWII Online, Planetside was a futuristic mix of 60 vs 60 Battlefield-type gameplay across open (I mean totally open) gameworlds, with persistant RPG elements (buy bionics, skills etc..). It's own and run by Sony, but never really got the coverage it deserved.

If Huxley can take this mould and upgrade it, I'm totally sold.

Planetside can be played for free (it's limited, though), so check it out at www.planetside.com
