GameCube/GameBoy adapter
We bought a GameCube/Gameboy adapter which allows us to play GameBoy games like they were a GameCube game. It's doubled the amount of games my family has to choose from. Nintendo no longer manufactures them, so if you want one, you'll need to check ebay or someplace similar. Just make sure it has a startup disc with it. If it doesn't, however, you can still get THAT from Ninendo for about $20.80.

Re: GameCube/GameBoy adapter
Yeah, they're selling for outrageous amounts of money on ebay because they're not sold by Nintendo anymore. I've seen some go for as much as $100 or more. Thankfully, even with having to buy the start up disc from Nintendo, I ended up paying much less than that.

Re: GameCube/GameBoy adapter
If they are, I haven't seen any, and believe me, I've looked. I'm pretty satisfied with the one we got, though, even if it DID take a little extra time getting everything we needed for it. My kids are having a blast being able to actually SEE what they're doing on The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap. LOL

Re: GameCube/GameBoy adapter
If we end up getting a Wii, and you can play the previous version games on IT, I'm thinking that we'll need to keep the GameCube JUST to have access to the adapter. I really hate the idea of having to keep both systems, though.

We bought one of these about a year ago and I will say it definently brought the gamecube back to use in our house. I didn't know that they didn't sell them anymore though.
