Enemy Of Territory: Quake Wars Review
ENEMY OF TERRITORY: QUAKE WARS – REVIEW
Quake Wars is to be released in 2007. (Supposably February 23rd, 2007) Quake Wars is the newest version of the Quake games (Formerly Quake 1, 2, and 3). This game will be a whole lot different then the previous series and will provide way better gameplay, storylines, and graphics to meet every gamers standard needs. This new game will be very different, but still very similar to the original Enemy Territory game. Maybe one of the most obvious (and possibly the most jarring) difference will be just the fact that Enemy Territory will be a full-on retail product that Splash Damage are supporting as far as the budget and production resources go. This new game adds a lot of new content and features that will make this game worth more than the sale price is. The new content and features are exclusive to the newest Quake game only. Quake Wars is: -Team based action packed game with very strategic missions to accomplish either in a single or a multiplayer campaign. -This game has to offer very unique teams and character classes weapons, vehicles, and deployables. In the game: This game is the prequel to Quake II, Enemy Territory: Quake Wars. Enemy Territory: Quake Wars is ultimately one of the best online team and objective-based multiplayer games on the market. You as the gamer can choose to either play as a human or a strogg in one of five unique character classes. This game has to offer a large variety of arsenal weapons, vehicles, and deployable armaments. The players will engage in a very action-packed test of your skills and coordinated teamwork throughout a series of combat objectives that need to be completed. Key Features: The key features in this game are limitless, some of which include: Team Based Strategic Missions: In this game, players can participate in a variety of team based missions, in which you must strategize with your team mates to accomplish your goals. Unique Teams and Character Classes With asymmetric gameplay, the characters of both the GDF and the Strogg look, move, and behave uniquely. Bases, characters, vehicles and weapons demonstrate the different technologies and behaviour of each side and require distinctive approaches to combat from each player. For example, a GDF Medic can heal and quickly revive injured or fallen soldiers on the field, while the Strogg Technician may use a GDF corpse as a host body for a waiting Strogg reinforcement. Similarly, the GDF Field Ops will deploy and call-in a laser-guided strategic strike missile, while the Strogg Opressor peppers a GDF convoy with his Plasma Mortar. Players can choose one of five character classes unique to each force, including the GDF's Soldier, Field Ops, Engineer, Covert Ops and Medic, or the Strogg's Aggressor, Opressor, Constructor, Infiltrator, and Technician. Unique Teams and Character Classes: Each character looks, moves, and behaves uniquely. Bases, characters vehicles and weapons demonstrate the different technologies and behaviours for each side (Ally and Enemy). Players can choose on of the five character classes unique to each force, including GDF’s Soldier, Field Ops, Engineer, Covert Ops and Medic, or the Strogg’s Agressor, Opressor, Constructor, Infiltrator, and Technician Weapons, Vehicles, Deployables: The weapons, vehicles, and deployables available for game play use in Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars are much more than just standard issue equipment. Each selection truly does inflict the gameplay and is a big factor to a team’s success or failure. As the game is set in the relative near future, the Human arsenal is based on ultramodem updates to today’s (real life today) conventional Earth arsenal, while the Strogg utilize a more addvanced technology then the Humans which is more suitable for conquering majorly different alien worlds. The GDF use weapons, and vehicles such as machine guns, rocket launchers, armoured personnel carriers, and hover-copters, and many others included as well. Although, the Strogg’s technology is built on the manipulation of energy and gravity and weapons like the Hyper Blaster, Lightening Gun, and various vehicles such as a giant mech-walker, a hover tank, vertical take-off and landing Hornet, and much more advanced assets that are not included within the Human team. Players will use the unique strategic assets like radar, auto targeting anti-personnels or vehicle turrets, articllery or stretegic strike missiles, all of which will give that team a strategic advantage. Final statements: Truly, this game is a great online game to have. This game has all of the cool features, great graphics and unique gameplay/storyline. I would strongly suggest you put this on your wish list and wait for it to come out next February because its release is very anticipated worldwide. Timeline: This game takes place in the year 2065 in a very advanced and detailed environment. I strongly suggest that you pick up a copy of this game as soon as possible! www.enemyterritory.com |

That's an interesting approach to Quake. I did however, play Wolfenstein Enemy Territory, which was probably made free to advertise this game. I'm sure a lot of the Wolf ET players will get this game once it comes out. It's pretty much a combination of Quake + Wolf ET.
