Overheating Problems

Has anyone had overheating problems?

I bought the intercooler to prevent overheating, yet my 360 is often hot to the touch anyway.

I placed it on the basement floor instead of in my entertainment system. Doesn't look as nice on the floor.

If it's one of the earlier models this is a common problem or so I've been lead to believe. Mine does it alot where it gets very hot after just an hour or so of gaming.

You can often smell burning with mine too although I've opened up the case and everything is fine. I wouldn't worry about it.

I thought I read somewhere the Microsoft is replacing all the Xboxes with overheating issues. I recommend you guys ask the retailer you bought it from or contact Microsoft directly. It will certainly fall under your guarantee but not until its stops working all together.
