What is a good Frame rate.

Ive read how games have decent frame rates and stuff. But what is actually where it starts to be good like 30?what you prefer?

it get between 30-70 fps in most games that i play

Yeah I agree with that I get around 40 to 60 frames per second on most games . Generally the new games have high frame rates if there any good in quality

Well on my old pc i'd get about 5-15 FPS on the games i play, on my new PC i get 80-450. I even got 2000+ at one time.

The ideal frames per second also depends on the type of game being played. For rpg games like oblivion 25-30 fps is considered good, while for cs1.6 or source the more the better. for racing games like the NFS series 30-40 fps is good.

apart from the hardware fps also depends upon the level of detail , resolution we play on .
those with a high end can crank up the details while those with midrange/lowend need to tone down a few details or lower the resolution.
