BF2 & BF2142 are thay to similar?

I have been playing BF2 for about a year or so now and with the new BF2142 out and playing the demo , don't get me wrong its a good game and worth paying for.

But is the game to similar its more a less a jazzed up version of BF2 would it not be better to of just made it a add on insted of a new full game?

just another way EA rips the money out of your pockets, thats why i dont have 2142.

I was very disappointed with the demo of 2142. All they did was slightly modify the existing engine, I see virtually no graphics improvements which was always an advantage with the battlefield series.

In essence they just added new weapon kits, and replaced the vehicles. I certainly wont fork out for the game, very disappointing performance by Dice.

I think they need to revisit WWII with incredible graphics enhancements and further features especially once that promote team play.

BF2142 is utter rubbish in my books. The game is too futuristic and doesnt appeal to me. I prefer something a little more down to earth and that we can relate to

I wont buy BF2142 period.

A lot of people had issues with the BF2142 demo every 3 mins it would kick you out of the server , i know a lot of people buy the game but if they fixed that issue a lot faster thay would of got a lot more sales.

I still have the issue every now and then , i have notest if you stick to the EA demo servers you wont have the issue.

I may buy this game as i like BF2 but not just yet.

i Bought BF2142 but i still prefer BF2. Don't get me wrong i like the new weapons in BF2142 but it will never compete to BF2 for me. In the mean time it is now collecting dust unlike BF2.
