Has everyone been to harsh on Sonys new console the PlayStation 3 , Just wait till you hear what valve's Gabe Newell thinks about the new PlayStation 3!!

All though studio are planning on bring the Half-Life 2 series to the new PlayStation 3 this year , Newell said that the new PlaySation 3 is a " total disaster " and is to believe that the next-gen console batter, the Wii will win hands down.

Despite the Xbox 360 booming sales in the end of 2006.
Newell suggested that sony give up on the Sony PlayStation 3 befor its even been release every where , here is the full quote of what Newell said..

"The PS3 is a total disaster on so many levels, I think It's really clear that Sony lost track of what customers and what developers wanted. I'd say, even at this late date, they should just cancel it and do a 'do over'. Just say, 'This was a horrible disaster and we're sorry and we're going to stop selling this and stop trying to convince people to develop for it.'

The happy story is the Wii. I'm betting that by Christmas of next year, the Wii has a larger installed base than the 360. Other people think I'm crazy. I really like everything that Nintendo is doing."

Sony has only shipped over 2 million copys of the PlaySation 3 worldwide and most of them have been shipped to Japan alone , Sony are still saying that by the end of march they will have shipped over 6 million , but a rumor has it that they will only sell about 4.5 million PlayStations 3s by the end of March this year.

Has Newell gone made or is he just a big Wii fan ?
