I remember getting my hands on the ps1 back when the game cases where looking like a DVD case LOL . At the time I thought this was the greatest the best nothing could top this I spent hours on this system. What games where your favorite for this console, Nintendo 64 had Bond what game do you think ps1 had as the game to have

I think either tekken 3 or Final Fantasy series where the game to have. I loved playing tekken against my friends

Final Fantasy definitely. Being a big fan of the FF series ever since NES and when FF7 came out I was simply blown away. It was definitely THE game to have back then with its cutting edge graphics and epic storyline.

I liked the fighting games too, like Warlocked mentioned Tekken was pretty cool. When they also released Marvel vs Capcom I was really into that also

I was never a huge of final fantasy but I certainly loved Gran Toruism and Tekken, is suppose for the reason that both were excellent multiplayer games. You just cant beat he intensity and excitement of playing with your friends, not to mention the excellent graphics that both those titles offered at the time.

I remember my friend had a Nintendo 64 at the time but its 64bit could top the 32bit of the PS1. It really was down to the best titles being published for the PS1.

At the time no other sytem even came close to the Playstation. My favorite games were Final Fantasy VII and Gran Turismo 1 and 2. These along with Madden are still my favorite games to play on any Playstation.

Metal Gear Solid was my fav game for the PS1 i use to sit here playing MGS about 8 hours straght , most of completed it about 8 times.

There is nothing like a bit of retro gaming now and again, I even sometimes dig out my old atari 2600 for a bit of nostalgia, now that was a gaming machine lol.

Back on topic now though, did you know that you can but a ps1 for about 10 quid on the high street?

I really love(d) Driver for the PS1.

I remember spending ages playing it round a friend's house then I bought it myself.

I play it on my PC with an emulator sometimes

Driver was a good game i also liked Driver 2 , never completed the game though i was the kinda person that liked getting as many cops on my back as i could then trying to get ride of them , Driver 2 was fun i use to love driving the bus it was slow but it did some damage to the cars lol.

I remember playing it a couple of times but never really got into it as much as Driver, just always stuck with the original.

oh man i play my ps1 now and play my ps2 and then played my mates ps3 and oh my god the difference is amazing!

i like all games...just can't really imagine what i liked on ps1.
