I will "respectfully" disagree. PS3 has a lot going for it. I bought my son an Xbox 360 for Christmas in 2007 and while the basic system was slightly cheaper, once you factor in the adds-ons (wireless adapter, Live subscription) and its downfalls (lost HD-DVD/Blu-ray wars lol) my PS3 was a bettter value. Not to mention that I have already sent the Xbox back once due to Red Rings and now, just a few months after getting a replacement, the disc drive won't read any games. Microsofts says..."Sorry, your original warranty has expired, $115 please". Suck it Microsoft!
Sure the PSN network is weak...but it's free and I am confident that with the hit Sony took this past holiday season they will step up to make it better and give the others a run for their money. Especially with games like Killzone 2 are showing the potential of the PS3 with brilliant graphics and awsome critical reviews. Just you wait, Sony is gonna get their second wind and when they do Xbox will feel it. |
