The Price of Games
The Retail price of Xbox 360 and PS3 games is £49.99 in the UK compare to the £29.99 of PS2 and Xbox games.
Now Microsoft and Sony say that the price for which they sell their consoles is less then their manufacturing costs. I cant really see the board of directors at one of the worlds largest companies would allow a product they spent years of development on to sell at a loss in the hope they will reclaim the costs in game prices. The launch dates of the Xbox and PS3 were also a year apart so Microsoft could have charged anything for their 360 and still made sales. It looks like a matter of price collaboration between $ony and Micro$oft to make a some more money. Of course im just guessing here.
