Wii Webbrowser

So, for all those who own a Wii, mind sharing with us some details about the Wii Web-browser? I hear it's based on Opera source code, but no clue about how it actually functions. Please share some experiences and impressions!

I have used the Wii web-browser and i can say that it is not that good right now. It is in beta so i know that nintendo will not let it stay this way. But i was trying to watch a simple video or just browse gamespot.com when all of a sudden it just locks up my console. I have tried on 3 different consoles just to see if it was within my console or not. Once the full version is out it will be good, although there are reports of little kids downloading adult content which is something that Nintendo will have to try and fix.

I saw it in action, and it looked amazing. The kid I saw use it was browsing and watching YouTube videos on his console. I think it is neat because you can play online games with the browser, which is really neat if you can't go out and buy a new game for the time being.

I actually registered a domain name exactly for that feature, heh. Very cool, Nintendo is doing some very innovative things!
