A Chip To Allow Wii To Play Backups

With only a few weeks of the Wii's release worldwide, Console hackers from all over the world have hacked the new Nintendo's Console. Someone has already created a "Wiinja", the modchip coded in IC allows people to get passed the copy protection. The chipset will allow direct booting of backup games within the same region of the console, so if you buy a Wii from North America the Wii will only be able to run intended North American games.

The developers have posted proof of this modchip for all to see on youtube a couple of the videos showing that the Wii is loading Wii games from of a burned DVD from a recordable DVD is being played without any disc in the drive.

Wow smart hackers, but I rather not take the risk with mod chips they can screw your laser up. So I will just buy originals and stay legal.
