Why buy a PlayStation 3?

Well, I can give you 4 general reasons why everyone just wants to have a PS3.


1. We all know that the most important thing for any console is its games. And we all know no console can run sucessfully unless it hosts some super killing monster games. PlayStation 3 has great First Party Games such as Final Fantasy 13 by Square Enix, Metal Gear Solid 4, and many other eye-popping games.

2. PlayStation 3 will fully support online gaming. This will be called Playstation Network Platform or otherwise known as "PNP" for a slang word. PNP will fully provide free online and multiplayer services along with something called a PlayStation Shop. With the PlayStation Shop you are able to purchase upgrades and guide-lines for PS3 Games. This is promised to be always Free so users can enjoy.

3. Graphics, Graphics, Graphics. Earlier in the years we seen Playstation came out, and then PlayStation 2 with a lot better graphics than PlayStation. Well, we all expect to see excellent graphics in PlayStation 3. PlayStation 3 has a new chip in it which provides excellent details in game, and much more improvements on effects such as texture, etc... This is not ordinary upgradem, this will literally make the users go "WOW!!!".

4. There are also a lot of excellent Third Party Games that PlayStation 3 hosts such as Grand Theft Auto 4 by RockStars, Devil May Cry 4, and other amazing games.

PlayStation 3 is a must have tool for any gamer. People were amazed by XBox and it's graphcis, wait untill you see PS3's graphics. Games on PS3 will have excellent detail and promising to have excellent story lines to satisfying the gamers.

You have made some very good points there for people thinking about buying one , looks like the PS3 will be having some very good games coming out soon as well.

Only reason why the PS3 is so much is becuase of the blu-ray

I never seem to get a straight answer when it comes to the blu-ray abilities. I have heard that the newer editions of the Playstation 3 are not including it anymore in efforts to bring down the price for the holiday season.

Wow, I've never heard that! I've heard of lower gig PS3s but they can't play PS2 games on them. The blu-ray kinda makes the graphics look AWESOMEbut i guess whatever floats your boat I guess...

All the best games are on the PS3. The only game you can't play on the PS3 is Halo 3.

Fatherland, I have to disagree with you in SO many ways. I have a PS3 and it is my favorite system to use. I've playd all 3, but the PS3 has better graphics, FREE online, and great game line-up and still making better games!

But I guess whatever floats your boat...

Thats true, in my opinion, the ps3 is a great system. A lot of ppl dont like it because they can't afford it. I can't really afford it at the time, but it's still a really good system that I hope to get sometime soon.
