Xbox 360 Employs Improved DVD Disc Drive
Xbox enthusiast website Xbox-Scene reported Today that Microsoft has started employing the use of new DVD disc drives for the Xbox360.
The new Disc drive BenQ VAD6038 is said to be more faster and quieter than the old Toshiba-Samsung, Hitachi-LG disc drives. The new disc drives was said to be in the models from Nov 2006 to the present, but somehow some Xbox360 that was purchase from that time frame may have the old disc drive still. Microsoft is said to have sold 10.4 Million units worldwide to data is to be shipping over 12 Million Xbox360 units worldwide by June 2007 |
