Scarface on the Xbox
Well Tony Montana is still alive, in the video game anyway. The game picks up the story where the movie left off, rewriting one of the movies most infamous scenes. Instead of dying he survives, minus his entire empire. It’s up to you to regain it all back! After making your escape from the movies final battle scene you are turned loose on the streets of Miami. The point is to regain your empire one neighborhood at a time, starting with Little Havana.
This is one of the coolest games I have played in a long time, Comparable to the GTA series but with a style all its own. It does go a bit overboard with the foul language, but is a very fun and addicting game. The characters and dialogue could have used a bit more attention but the gameplay makes up for some of that. The person doing the voice of Montana also does a good job but like I mentioned the dialogue gets a bit repetitive. The game does have a lot of foul language and violence, so if you’re planning on buying it for anyone other then a mature teen or adult you might want to think again. |

I heard it wasn't near as good as GTA. But they have a great storyline. The scarface movie is one of the best movies made, I think. I also saw a review on XPLAY about it, and they disliked the game because it was repetitive. And the fact that if the police catch you, you're busted. You can't fight your way out.
I was very close to buying this, but didn't because I hadn't read the reviews and last time I bought a game without doing that, I was severely disappointed ![]() |
