Dual screens

Is it just me or does anyone else get bothered by the two screens a DS has? Well im not the biggest DS fan, but i've played it and it seemed to hurt my eyes lol, i already messed my eyes watching a lot of tv and on the computer lol, but does anyone like that?

I think it's cool.

Playing one one of them and having a map on the other for example.

I just think it's neat. It's not as if you have to use both for all the games or anything.

well i guess it can be ok lol, if its non-moving then yes, i played a game where you have to control the movement with the bottom screen and fight or something with the top one, i havent played in about a year i dont have the system, friends house, he's a nintendo addict, has everything even the wii

That sounds like Metroid Prime, there's a few control options, he probably had it set to the touch screen controls.

You can set it so that you can just use the buttons to control it aswell rather than the touch screen.

YES Metroid lol, how did i forget the name, well i didnt know how to configure it, my friend said touch screen is better and faster to play, lol, well im gonna ask him if he still has the game so i can try on button, if i have time that is, i've been playing Wii with him lol

I don't like dual screens too. It's much better if they just made one widescreen large enough for games with a touch screen capability. That would be cool

It's like a hybrid PSP and IPod Touch.

I have both PSP and Ds and i play them both equally. I do have to say that there are some games that the PSP doesn't have that are good. But it is also the other way around. Don't beleive me? Compare the Grand theft autos for each

But Yes, I do think that the Dual screens are pretty cool.

It all depends on personal preference. My college professor was watching us at lunch playing good old unreal tournament and he told us he wished he could play with us but he would get sick of the motion. Getting back to the DS, I think the dual screens work better for some games then others. If you think about it, it saves a bit of time having a map on the other screen or information displayed rather then having to implement a button and having to wait until the map came up or a menu. I don't want to offend the hardcore wii fans, but I think the DS was more thought out then the wii, maybe that has changed with motion plus but that is my opinion. I think one of Nintendo's approaches is how can they add to a game without adding complexity, meaning how can we make it more fun without adding more buttons or making it complicated. The stylus, everyone can use a pen or pencil so that means everyone can use a stylus. Just think the DS dual screens are easier on the eyes then the virtual boy lol.
