Favorite Web Browser Thread

The browser wars have changed the way people look at web browsers today. Although Internet Explorer still has a wide install base majority of the market share still users have shifted to other browsers.

So my fellow forum members are requested to specify which web browser they use and why while avoiding flame wars.

My favorite web browser is firefox.
iam typing this post on firefox right now.
I like it because its interface and the security .Third party plugins make this an excellent browser. Iam eagerly waiting for firefox 3 scheduled to release this year end.

I was a big IE user until the latest update, it started crashing a lot. So, now I use FireFox like you. Tabbed browsing/Favorites buttons on the header/plugins available all make me wish I would've switched sooner.

IE just crashes too much to be functional.

Firefox all the way. Internet Explorer is just too slow and bulky for me. Not to mention insecure. Although, I think Opera is pretty cool, I used that for a while. Opera is probably #2, after Firefox, in my opinion.

Firefox any day, Flock is a huge copy of firefox www.flock.com I really like firefox for its plugins, tabs, great themes and everything! Also the download interface is very nice to use.

I'm a firefox user since it first launched, it's faster and the ad-blocker is great. I'm currently using the ifox theme it's really nice. But i may download a new one when i'm back home from work.

I really hate IE, but now all browsers are using tabs which is quite annoying.
