Sensitivity preference in CS

Most of you must be skilled gamers in counterstrike . However i would really like to know the optimum mouse sensitivity in the game.
Currently iam using sensitivity level 4 ,but i also come across players who prefer lower sensitivity levels.
Are there any advantages of having a lower sensitivity or is it just a matter of preference? do guide me .

Four is about right to me. I can't stand anything any lower, and 5 is just a bit too fast.
