Sony Not Crying About PS3 Sales Figures
With sales for the PlayStation 3 not hitting the roof just yet and the other two consoles "Xbox360 & Wii" out doing the PlayStation 3 , Sony do's not seem to be that greatly bothered.
As the PlayStation 3 is doing very poor in sales the PS2 and PSP is doing very good as Sony points out. “We are pleased with the numbers from January as they demonstrate overall sales improvements for our legacy systems year over year and continued momentum for PS3. With supply levels stabilizing, you can expect to see increased marketing for PS3 and PS2 in weekly retail circulars, which should garner strong numbers, boosted by big software launches, such as MotorStorm and Virtua Fighter 5,” I can see the PlayStation 3 myself doing pretty well in the next few months when they release these big top games they are going to be releasing soon, what do you think ? |

To be honest I dont think the PS3 is worth the price tag. I have read recent articles where they plan to reduce the backward compatible capabilities in some countries. There are a few cool looking games to be released soon but I dont think there going to create enough momentum to change the situation. It was a major mistake to release the console without a wide range of game support in my opinion.
