The Wii reaches new player demographic

We all know that the Nintendo Wii is on top of every kid’s wish list, but what you probably didn't know is that now grandma and grandpa want one too. That’s right, recent articles have been stating that the Wii is becoming a favorite activity for seniors in retirement homes around the country. Now grandma and grandpa can play in a bowling tournament without having to leave the house.

This is uncharted territory for console gaming. The Wii is going where no console has gone before. I personally think it’s an awesome story. It's also a great way for kids to spend fun quality time with there grandparents. It would be a little embarrassing to get pwned by gramps in front of your friends though. Good for Nintendo, it pays to be innovative and think outside the box. I personally have been a Nintendo fan since I was small, the good old days of Super Mario, Double Dribble, and Duck Hunt. A present my Grandparents spoiled me with one Christmas.
