Win for money, but don't pay to play?

I miss Uproar.com, I used to win money on Bingo and never had to pay to play. I wonder if that was why it shut down, but if anyone knows any free sites where you can win real money, I'd be very thankful!

I miss it too! I used to be addicted until it closed. I haven't been able to find a comparable site yet.

Tonight when I return from work, I will make it my goal to hunt down another site like this!
Once I did play bingo on a site that said it was like that but I wasn't really sure. I need to find that one!

I'm a member of myPoints, and I just got a thing in my email saying something about winning real cash from their games. I don't know if you have to deposit real money to play, though. I wasn't really reading the email that closely.

The only ones I know of are basically where you win tickets towards drawing for jackpots. I miss Uproar myself too. Did anyone hear why they went out of business? I never did it was just gone one day.

I didn't hear anything either, and I tried to do a search on it but all I could find were other people wondering why...I'd say they went out of business...this was the most informative link:

I never played any games on Uproar. I don't generally play anything for money, though. It would be too dangerous for me to have money on the line. I'd play until I lost everything.

You didn't have to deposit any money on this site you basically played for certain amounts of money. The bingo wasn't alot but you also if I remember correctly won tickets you could turn in for drawings they had for bigger amounts of money.
Thanks for the link above I will have to check it out.

Re: Win for money, but don't pay to play?

*Sigh*...I played so often that I had so many hundreds of thousands of points left from the 4 years of playing with them up until they shut down. I was able to "buy" the maximum amount of sweepstakes entries for each of the ones I wanted...never won but I figured since I was winning a few Bingo games here and there (prizes $2-20) that I stood a chance!
