Gameboy DS

My kids each have a Gameboy Advanced, but it seems there are some good games coming out for the DS. Would it be worth it go get the DS even though they have the other?

Re: Gameboy DS

My son has the advance also but we are getting him the DS for his birthday. There are a ton of games that he already wants for this system. I have heard great things about it myself. I think it is worth the money.

Re: Gameboy DS

Thanks for your opinion. Do you know if you can play the older games on the DS like you can with the GameCube, or is it an entirely different format?

Re: Gameboy DS

The DS system does, in fact, play all Gameboy Advanced games, which is a huge advantage for the system. Since the price of the Nintendo DS is going down, I would recommend the purchase. Your son will most likely enjoy the enhanced game range of the system, and other features such as the immensely easy ability to play wireless with other DS owners both in the room or through the freely included wifi abilities. This forementioned ability is a vast improvement of all the requirements to play the Gameboy Advanced with friends.
