Ah, I am back...well, almost. I have been in San Jose via a work project, and it has quickly been followed by all day screening assignments. With luck, I can make an appearance tomorrow, but the following day, certainly.

We can't let the competition believe that Gunslingers are down for the count, now can we?

Back and currently online.

The only noteworthy development in regards to clans while I was away is the Hells Angels. They are clearly the most active clan (other than us) and have doubled their points since the last time I looked. Without a doubt, they are our biggest competition.

Expect to be doing some clan challenges against them. I know they are zeroing in on Gunslingers since we received a challenge from them. I believe the best course of action is two fold:

1.) Let them get closer in points. Hells Angels clan is currently in the 50s for points while we are in the 90s. With such a point spread between two clans, whom both with noteworthy players, it can only help Hells Angels to challenge them before they are within ten points from us. With such good players, there is no way we can possibly expect to win all races. Not to worry, though. They will, without doubt, be breathing down our necks soon enough.

2.) We will use the Mavericks clan as a possible safeguard. In that case, the point spread is in the reverse and in our favor. For example, Hells Angels can beat Mavericks three times in a row, but if Mavericks win once, Hells Angels, overall, has lost points due to the match up. I am sure anyone that has been part of the Gunslingers clan challenges know full well that pain.

Currently, I need to start recruiting to get some members for Mavericks. Everyone wants to be part of our Gunslingers because it has points on the boards, but not a new (unknown) clan. So, if anyone of the Gunslingers have a second racer name that isn't tied up in a clan already, feel free in taking a spot on the Mavericks roster. At least then, we have a shot at winning some challenges under Mavericks.

Xerix and I played a single round of circuit race clan challenges against Libertad.

Our total points are now 92.

I will be working a pretty long work day today, so it will be pretty late when I log on tonight. I'm guessing around 11pm Pacific time.

Mad.max, pasta, and I did a series of clan challenges against the Dragon Elite clan. Although we won five out of six of the challenges, the large point spread between us and them worked against us, and we ended up being a single point shy of where we were prior the challenge.

Our current total points: 91.

The bright side is that the challenges were fun, and it was nice to get back into the swing of things. I don't know about the rest of you, but I am not going to sweat a single point, and I am sure our current goal of 100 before the end of next week is more than reasonable.

I plan to get 100 before Haloween o and we really need to get Hells!angels down even if they have cheaters,cuz Im not losing to some cheaters

There is some logic to that. I very much hate to admit it, but the only clans that are on our level in regards to overall points are the "cheaters." I just wish challenging them would not validate their actions, but it will. On the other hand, I would love to take those points away from them.

I'll be on board with challenging those clans, but we do need to be careful. Once in a challenge, it isn't like normal races: we can't just leave within the first ten seconds if we find someone with a codebreaker on and not lose points ourselves.

I dropping in a note to everyone know that I am aware that it has been sometime since we have had a clan challenge. We have been submitting challenges to others every day this weekend and week, yet no luck.

Hopefully, the dry spell will end soon.
