For the time being, this thread will be used to give notice of challenges to other clan members, whether it be in regards to ones I have set up, events we have declined, and periods of time that challenges will not be happening.

Hopefully, this will provide information to all the members without all of us needing to be on the Jak X server at the same time.

7/17/07 Clan Challenges Update:

Mad.max and McMurphy challenged the_black_rose from the Dark Heros (yes, that is their misspelling of the word) to a single round of a clan circuit race on the Loading Docks. All weapons were left on with default amount of laps.

Gunslingers won the race, and the total Clan points are up to 24.

Overall, the Gunslingers are still in the top ten clans, but we did slip one spot down to number ten. It was not due to any loss of points on our part, but the emergence of the DM Kings on the list.

Speaking of the DM Kings, we will not be directly challenging that clan any time in the near future due to their obvious glitching and codebreaker usage. It was the very reason I had left their clan in the past since I wouldn't wish the McMurphy racing name to be considered a cheater, nor would I want our clan to be handing over points to them. We should, however, not be surprised to see them viewing us as direct competition due to my past association.

There are no current Clan Challenges for the Gunslingers, but I do expect new ones to emerge tomorrow.

That is all good. I have been playing more in the morning hours than the evenings due to my work schedule, so I may see you on more.

Challenges Log 7/18/07:

We had some challenges with a couple of different clans today, it was a bit of a give and take day, although, luckily, we were greedy: we took more than we gave out.

The first clan we battled was the KOBK featuring the leader "Aj..." and our ex-member "Naruto2." All four events were circuit races. We won two, and they won two; however, we (somehow) lost two points over all because of the match up. Our side featured McMurphy and Mad.max.

The second clan we had several circuit races against was the Red Dragons. The events were solely one-against-one races featuring "Gazooks" and "McMurphy." We won several points.

Our grand total points are 29, which is the highest we have been, yet still keeps us firm in the 10th spot.

There are no active challenges taken place at this moment.

Clan Challenge Log 7/20/07:

McMurphy and smash1bash2 challenged the Cant Clan to a series of circuit races, and won every single one. Amazing job. I have played against Mr. Stealth and Fazz before, and they are good players. To be honest, I thought the laws of averages would have had us give up a few along the way.

After those challenges, our points went from 29 to 33. Great news!

The bad news is that the emergence of our clan has sparked renewed interest in clan challenges; hence, the top ten has suddenly become very, very active. Even though we rose quite a bit in points today, we, however, are shy a couple points from staying in the top ten. At the moment, we are in the eleven spot simply because we are tied with another clan. I do not know why the stats place us underneath the other clan that we are tied with, but that is just how the role of the dice is working at the moment. The fortunate aspect to that, however, is that it only takes a few points to not only re-enter the top ten, but to move up a position.

I will be starting a Blacklist thread soon. I believe it Paramount in importance to discuss a few scams that are actively being done to raise clan points artificially, and we should all agree exactly what the Gunslingers' position is on the matter.

Notice (7/21/07):

I am going out of town to visit family, which years have passed since the last time that has occurred, so clan challenges are suspended for Gunslingers until August 1st, 2007.

Heh, don't lose points like I seem to always do. I go up ten just to decline fifteen when I race a few too many that day.

Gunslingers played a handful of race-only rounds against Naruto2's new clan, knights. With only one exception, we won all the races, although every single one was a dead heat.

Perhaps, he should have stayed enlisted with us after all.

Mad.max and McMurphy faced off with some clan with "killers" in their title (I made the mistake of not writing it down at the time), and played a couple rounds...all of which we won.

After these rounds, our total points are 38.
