Is it possible to turn off hardware monitoring?
Ive got a tuniq tower and wanna replace the fan in it with an akasa amber fan. i have a fan controller so it will just plug straight in to the back of that with no connection to the motherboard.
Now i think hardware monitoring will report that the CPU fan has failed...is there a way to turn that off in bios? I have a gigabyte DS4. thanks

As far as I know the CPU fan will always warn you when it isn't detecting a signal. This is a safety feature, but f you can't find an option in the BIOS the chances are you won't be able to. You could just try running both fans inside the case, then you won't get a warning and the airflow may improve (depending on how you set them up).
