EA Cutting Off Many Players ---Server shutdowns

I have noticed that EA has built an awful reputation of pulling the plug on games during a short period of time, and, because of that, I generally avoid EA game purchases since whatever game I would choose to buy would lose significant value after only a year.

For the games above, I am to understand that EA will no longer provide players with the option to play online.
