Re: Maplestory
I have recently started a file at Maple Story (mapleglobal.com). It isn't bad, but the only thing that if offers more than the other online games out there (like DragonFable) is that the player can actually interact with other people. Not that such and addition is a small advantage: I think that is a significant element. With the other games, they felt very solitary in experience. Maple Story really does feel more community based, and that reason alone is worthy enough to have people give the game a try.
There are a couple things to keep in mind: 1.) You will be downloading a large software file onto your computer. It appears safe, but if you are a person that doesn't like to download files from the internet, this game may not be for you. 2.) You must be at least sixteen to play. Most likely this has nothing to do with the actual content in the game. The missions, quests, and storylines seem fairly appropiate for all ages. The fact that players can interact with each other is probably the real reason. 3.) Maple Story is a 2D game. If you are okay with that---go for it. Either way, my character name in the Maple Story game is "Maengun" so give me a shout-out if you see me. ![]()

Re: Maplestory
I played Maplestory for a while, but I didn't feel that welcome. u_u
Everybody seemed to be really tight with eachother, and the people who -did- talk to me were the ones who went "n00b" and ran away. Needless to say, I quit after the first month -.-; |

Re: Maplestory
That game ate my life for a few months. One day I realized that I was spending 5 hours at a time in the same place, doing the same thing over and over again, and I was able to quit cold turkey. It's a good time-killer, though.
