Do You Think Pokemon Will Ever Die?
{Since this could go in handhelds and consoles, I put it here)
Well, since Diamond and Pearl came out, there's now 480 Pokemon that you can catch in those two games alone. I read the reviews about them via Gamespot and you can catch the old Pokemon from Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver, and so on.
There's also the other spinoffs: Pinball, the puzzles ones, Pokemon Snap, Hey You! Pikachu!, Mystery Dungeon, XD, Colosseum, and others likely.

Re: Do You Think Pokemon Will Ever Die?
i think maybe the demand for pokemon will die soon. but to be honest i believe they will ride out the production of everything Pokemon until they go into a deficit.

It looked like it was declining for a while, but it's definitely going strong now. I think it's going to be around for a very long time.

Lol that might sadly be true, I personally thought that those games were going to die out a long time ago, but they just keep on going. I've noticed though that those games are still pretty fun, sad to say lol.

I remember getting Red for Christmas, then I got Silver, Then I got Cyrstal, then I got Saphire, then I got ruby, then I got Emerald, then I got Pearl. They have to run out of ideas for new pokemon SOME time, right? I think it could go on for a couple more years...

Re: Do You Think Pokemon Will Ever Die?
I remember playing Pokemon Red on my brand new Gameboy Color so many years ago, and let me tell you Pokemon was a huge part of my life lol. I still play it to this day though not with the same determination and passion I once had.
In reality I don't think Pokemon will ever cease to exist until the company eventually stops cutting a profit. Though in my eyes, Pokemon hasn't been the same since the days of Gold, Silver, and Crystal. On a brighter note I can't wait for the remakes.

Re: Do You Think Pokemon Will Ever Die?
Seeing how there are like 493 pokemon now, I hope it dies.
I LOVED the old pokemon. Kanto and Johto were the best. Everything after Ruby version was pure garbage.
I have pokemon crystal and STILL play it today, I love the older pokemon.
Also, if you look at the newer pokemon, you can see that nintendo is running out of ideas for new pokemon.
Why didn't they stop when they were on top????

Re: Do You Think Pokemon Will Ever Die?
I sure as hell hope so. Dont get me wrong when i was a little kid i had pokemon EVERYTHING and i mean everything from posters to plushes to sheets haha i had it all. But the fact there at 490 now is pretty ridiculous and the names they give them are pretty ridiculous aswell i mean come on a turtle with a tree on its head turtletree epic fail. I could watch any episode of the original series with full enjoyment but i think the quality of the series just went down the drain completely
