Sigma Star Saga (GBA)

Has anyone else picked up this Namco release on the Gameboy Advance? I got it for under five bucks used the other day, and it, while not perfect, has some inspired points of play.

Sigma Star Saga is the love child of two usually unrelated game genres: side scrolling space shooters and turn-based role playing games. The main character, a futuristic Earthling forced to go under cover as an alien fighter, walks around maps in the same fashion as Cloud, but, instead of being sucked into random battles against a line of fantasy inspired minions, the player engages in a brief round of classic space shooting, Life Force-like, action until he/she meets the kill requirements.

The genres aren't fused perfectly in this game, but it is a noble attempt that results in a decent game for the Gameboy Advance.
