Rock Band/Guitar Hero
Instead of making two separate threads, let's just put Rock Band and Guitar Hero together.
I'm currently addicted to both. I recently started to play Guitar Hero on difficulty Hard, and I suck at it, but I'm getting better. And Rock Band, drumming is hard too. I don't think my brain can control drumming and stepping on the foot paddle all at once... lol. What do you guys think about these games? |

I was in Tuscon, Arizona earlier this week, and there was a large Guitar Hero contest being held across the street from my hotel room. I have utterly underestimated the impact and popularity of those games. It feels as if I am the only person under the sun that has passed up that franchise. I have been tempted to purchase the Guitar Hero for the Playstation 2, but I am clueless as to which version is worth my money, or if I should hold out for the Wii version, instead.

Re: Rock Band/Guitar Hero
I have played both. I can play both guitar types on expert. Love the guitaring on both but I like guitar heros better. As for the drumming and singing on rock band, I enjoy it but it is just not the thing for me. I have friends who are insane at both (expert level) so I think if I play rock band more I will play it with them. But otherwise guitar hero is a better game I think.

Re: Rock Band/Guitar Hero
I have yet to play Rock Band, I'm on a limited funds and I've spent the majority of my time with Guitar Hero 3, Dead Raising, Turok, and Mass Effect in the past month. If the Drums on Rock Band are any where nearly as hard as they are on Drumania 10 then I'm going to have alot of fun with that.

Re: Rock Band/Guitar Hero
Since my post, I have learned that only the Xbox360 and the Wii versions have online capabilities. That is certainly something to consider since all versions are relatively going for the same price.
