Can't remember name of an old game...
Hi everyone.
Was hoping one of you could help me out. I am looking for an old game that I played many, many years ago, but I can’t remember it name. I remember that it was an rpg for the playstation 1. I vaguely remember some of the story, but bits and pieces may be wrong. You start out as a child in a small village with a male lead character. Your father is a knight at some distant castle has come home to visit. He trains you (aka beat you up in a cut scene) until you are unconscious. The next day you end up going north of the village (I think you had to chase some girl up there) where there are old dragon bones. Something happens up there (can’t remember what) and when you go back to the village everything is different. I thing you were sent back in time or something… You end up being raised in the church as an orphan and then your adventure really starts. I’m not sure how much of that is correct, but it’s what I remember. I also recall the games to have several annoying puzzles throughout it and one particular level 15 character who is poisoned or cursed (or something) and is incredibly weak until you cure him much later. It also had a final fantasy style battle system. Anyway, I know it’s not much to go on, but if someone recognises it I’d appreciate it if they could give me the games name. Thanks all. |
