PS3 codefree?
1) Is the PS3 blu-ray drive region free for games AND movies?
2) If not, is there a way to make it region free? I don't know if this violates forum rules, cause I don't know if this is illegal :S If so, please answer question 1 and ignore question 2.

Yes, the Playstation 3 does play both DVD and Bluray formatted movies. Not that it will matter much longer, but that does not include HD.
From what I have read, the system is supposed to be region free...so a player can purchase any PS3 game from around the world. If someone could confirm this claim, however, that would be helpful.
