Guitar Hero on the Nintendo DS????

The ever popular Guitar Hero franchise will soon make its debut on the Nintendo DS. To make the game travel friendly, the full plastic guitar will be replaced with just the multi-colored button piece, which will be attached to the side of the DS. A styler pick will be used to strum the cords via the display screen.

How well do the rest of you think this is going to work? I thought the entire point of the Guitar Hero's success was the guitar shaped controller considering far less popular franchises, such as Amplitude, failed to have fans minus the guitar.

You can read more information about the Guitar Hero release for the Nintendo DS HERE.

I dunno. It sounds like a good idea, but I don't know how to side of the DS will work. It most likely will be fun though.

I really think that this game sucks... but on a Ds will be even worse.

Ds have many good game but they need more games for the heavy gamers.

Re: Guitar Hero on the Nintendo DS????

I've tried it and it gets boring fast. You play one song and your bored of the game and your wrist and neck start to hurt...

Its a terrible idea.

Personally, I think nintendo shouldn't try anything risky like guitar hero on DS. They should stick with mario, pokemon, ect... All the popular franchises

Re: Guitar Hero on the Nintendo DS????

They went way to far. With the popularity and fame 'Guitar Hero' got they attempted to pitch something just to make more money. It's ridiculous, and I think I speak for many when I say I'm disappointed in Nintendo
