Re: girls on games....
There tends to be more games targeted toward males (Think Gta, Sporting games). Consoles such as Wii and DS have attracted females too though.

Re: girls on games....
The female presence in gaming both offline and online have significantly increased in the last ten years. It is by no accident, for example, the Final Fantasy franchise and most other traditional turn-based rpgs have included romantic subplots.

Re: girls on games....
The reason why only a few girls are on gaming is that they are more attracted to shopping and stuff like that. Girls are never into staring at a monitor sitting in a chair and just passing the time off playing games. And also they are more conscious of their figure and working out.

No offense, but that's a very stereotyped sort of sexist assumption. I'm female and I have NEVER, ever in all my life enjoyed shopping. Blech. However, I HAVE been playing video games since the days of PONG and Atari, so perhaps these "girls" that you're referring to (albeit in a very generalized statement) are extremely young, like oh, 12? Because frankly, by the time girls become WOMEN, a lot of them are pretty sick of shopping, and sitting in front of a monitor passing time in a virtual environment, sounds amazingly FUN.
I would agree that many of us are perhaps more interested in our looks (not that some men also aren't a bit vain, teehee) so perhaps we spend a smidgen less TIME in front of the monitor, being that we have to occasionally go look in the mirror. (LOL, uhm, that was sarcasm.)

Actually, a lot of 'normal' girls actually get worse with shopping as they get older. I would know, because I'm surronded by these almost every single day and am expected to be just like them. However, I like you, am much more attracted to gaming than I could ever be to shopping(I mean, sure, like to shop sometimes, but if I enter a store, I don't plan on spending five hours in it and not buy anything like the girls I know do.)

Re: girls on games....
There may not be as many girl gamers out there as there are male ones, but they do exist.

I would have to agree completely. I am a woman and I would prefer sitting in from of a computer over shopping any day. If I do go to the store, I usually spend no more then a few minutes in there and I go with the intention to pick up a specific item. I never could understand how some women can spend hours in a store staring at a bunch of junk and walk out the store empty handed.
I currently play Domo and I can say there are MANY woman that play. There is no romantic plot to it, but yes there is a lovers relationship in the game. Actually it is quite funny because the men in the game are more interested in forming lovers relationships then the women, but then again that could be to get the lovers titles "pick up artist" "one woman man" "two-timer" XD

The answer to this question is simple, Girls are not good at games...period. Most can't even get past the first level.
