Re: The BEST PC games of all time
Since I've been playing PC games almost since the PC came out (my first PC was an Amstrad PC1512), some of these games may not be familiar to some, but my list is:
Starflight (my first ever PC game) Starfleet I Might And Magic 2 Panzer General Heroes Of Might And Magic 3 Baldur's Gate Medieval: Total War I forgot Civilization 2 |

Re: The BEST PC games of all time
I'm actually quite fussy on games. SO only Baldurs gate and divine divinity make it into my list.

Re: The BEST PC games of all time
Morrowind
Diablo II Panzer general 2 duke nukem - yeah baby! half life Is anyone taking scores? we could make a giant poll about it ![]() starting to enjoy Baldur's gate 2 tho, an there are some games that I'mreconsidering, like stronghold, Battle realms, and of course Soulbringer - no one else seems to have heard about that last one, it's a pitty... most people won't get my excitment about it, but it's the first PCgame I bought (not first PC game played, that had to be duke nukem 3D ) and I loved it |

Re: The BEST PC games of all time
All of Quake and Unreal get my vote, along with everything ever made by Blizzard (all of the Starcraft & Warcraft games), and of course: Baldur's Gate and all its sequels including Icewind Dale...
And so many more excellent games that I've temporarily forgotten. |

Re: The BEST PC games of all time
I suppose X-wing: Alliance should have been on my list, but my list would go up to 50 or so if i added all my favorites
![]() And Baldur's gate deserves two mentions ![]() |

Re: The BEST PC games of all time
FEAR definitely kicks butt.
But if you want to say the best during a game's first release, then I'll say DOOM really knocks everything out. No game could ever have toppled it's gameplay during the 90s. |

Re: The BEST PC games of all time
My husband loves Baldur's Gate, now we got the Baldur's Gate for the GameCube. Big mistake. He's taken over the TV so he can play that game. Ocassionally he DOES go back to the PC, but usually he's on the GameCube.

Re: The BEST PC games of all time
I love playing everything and anything, it bugs me when people overlook games because they don't have a gun you can shoot. I love first person shooters as much as the next guy, but I also love games like revolt, or rollercoaster tycoon. My list has to be...
Baldurs Gate 2 - No one does story better than Bioware Half Life - hands down best FPS The Sims - addictive pointless fun Diablo 2 - awesome all around, single and multiplayer. NOX - 1 of the first games I ever bought, special place in my heart Age of Wonders - which might have been better than AOE at the time Home World - Ahead of it's time Re-Volt - Battle Racing before we had Mario Kart Ultima Online - 1 of the first MMO's (can't list the other cuz i didn't try them) and Jedi Knight II Jedi Outcast - finally a game that let you do it all. |
